Under $50 Love

So because I'm frugal, I decided I'd do an under $50 love every weekend with a few products or items I'm excited about. This week it is Origins VitaZing moisturizer that I can't get enough of! I got a sample at the mall as I was checking out new products and I'm totally obsessed. Perfect for my skin tone. I also found a place that has knockoff bubble necklaces, and while I have been wanting one for a long time, I can't afford. Cue The Poke a Dot Shop version for 19.99! I ordered one in aqua! Lastly I'm looking for inexpensive blazers and love this one from H&M  . I have to dress up for work again after a year of dressing down and so am trying to amp up my work wardrobe on the cheap! What are your under $50 finds this week?

The Essie Obsession

So I have spent most of my adult, nailpolish buying life, convinced that nothing could beat my trusty OPI Nailpolish. I had a collection that could rival many nail salons thanks to a sister who got some sweet discounts for me. After a few years my discount and polish dried up and I started testing out some new brands. Thankfully I did, my obsession has changed (at least temporarily) to Essie. I just bought the Off the Shoulder and it is really a great girly shade of pink. I'm currently coveting the other two below as well (in addition to about 30 other colors) But I thought for today I'd at least share some of my Saturday polish wants!

Work Travel on the Cheap

I travel for work....A LOT! Thankfully because of my unique travel, I don't always have to dress up, but there are many times I do. This trip I did have to dress up and while I'm by myself, I attempted to get a picture.

This is what happens when you are stuck in a hotel room taking a picture of yourself!

I do love these simple flats though!

I bought this navy blue dress at Dressbarn last week for Convention. I love it because a) it is jersey which is perfect for my traveling b) I have an addiction to navy blue and c) its super flattering on my figure with the a line and wrap. I thought the navy blue was fun with these pink flats from Target found here. I have to do a lot of walking when I travel usually and so while I love a great pair of heels, I've learned to enjoy a flat. These just make me happy. You can't see it but I'm also wearing this necklace from Stella and Dot.

Again, not my most exciting wardrobe day, but welcome to the life of a traveler! Trying to be stylish, professional, and super comfortable!

New Ann Taylor Sale Finds

Do you want to know what happens when you start a blog, and then have a work convention that has you sleeping only about 3 hours a night? The answer is nothing, which is why it's taken me like two weeks to write my first post! Here I am however excited to start the style blog adventure.

I met some coworkers for brunch yesterday at our outdoor mall here in Indianapolis. You know I had to take a minute to look around and thank goodness I did! I struck it big at Ann Taylor on the first day of their sale and came out with approximately $300 worth of merchandise for less than $150! Score! I decided this was the perfect time to snatch up some summer color and neon! For some reason the prices here online are more expensive than I paid in the store, so I suggest hopping over. Here is what I bought!

Elizabeth Pointy Flats, Originally 158, I got them for 39.99!

Already have this planned for a day next week with dark trouser jeans! Love that bright yellow!

In person this is more coral than orange

Got these in Blue!

The pants are definitely different for me. I LOVE the look of colored pants and jeans, but since I've gained weight, I've avoided buying pants (why does it all go straight to my bottom half?) and were afraid colors were a no no on my large rear. These are super flattering though and I'm pumped to have a new pair of summer pants to mix in with my abundance of dresses. I may have to buy another pair online since they were all out my size in other colors in the store!

My advice? Check out Ann Taylor this week! I can't wait to show some pics of these pieces in action.
